The Position: We are looking for an established Sales professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the packaging industry who has developed solid relationships with customers with a proven track record in building new growth. We are open to individuals seeking full-time or independent contractor employment.


The Location: Elk Packaging is based in Culver City, California, conveniently close to the rail station and in a fast-growing neighborhood with lots of trendy shops and restaurants nearby.

Responsibilities

·        Manage a portfolio of active accounts

·        Prospect and qualify new sales leads

·        Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects

·        Field new customer inquiries

·        Research and analyze sales options

·        Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects

·        Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products

·        Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports

·        Build and maintain professional networks

·        Meet with potential clients to determine their needs


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the print packaging industry
  • Working knowledge of print packaging materials and manufacturing processes in various mediums
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Ability to negotiate and understanding of marketing skills
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
  • Strong business acumen
  • Fast learner and quick thinker
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Travel may be required
  • Experience in QuickBooks a plus
