WAREHOUSE RECEIVER

Reports to: Warehouse/Inventory Control Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

This Warehouse Receiver is responsible for the execution of all processes related to receiving, stocking and rotating all incoming material in compliance and adherence to all applicable internal and regulatory requirements for Food Safety standards.

Maj or Responsibilities

• Maintain and uphold the Company's safety and quality standards and those set by industry while performing tasks.

• Load/unload goods and materials, adhering to logistics procedures as directed.

• Assist in making pallets of goods and materials to put on trucks for transportation.

• Verify accuracy of loaded material with the order form given.

• Interact with other departments to ensure the proper flow of materials into and out of all areas of the facility.

• Accurately check, count and weigh inventory.

• Complete shift paperwork and reports daily and accurately.

• Attend regular safety training exercises and other company meetings.

• Complete receiving and inventory records.

• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

Technical & Position Specific Skills Required

• Ability to work under deadline pressure.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

• A high sense of integrity, professional courage, sound judgment and sense of urgency.

Education/Training Required

• High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified college.

• Current forklift certification for sit-down style forklifts.

• 1-2 year's warehouse experience required .

• Experience properly operating a pallet jack required .

• Fluent in Spanish required .

Work Environment

• Long periods of time working in a cold ( 30 -60 ° F ) environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs which includes repetitive lifting.

• Ability to bend and reach overhead continuously.

• Mobility in plant / warehouse environment.
