The Regional Account Manager growths their region by ensuring operational excellence, delivering results, and achieving or exceeding financial goals. The Regional Account Manager establishes and develops relationships with our #1 customer, Whole Foods Leadership Team, external partners, our cross-functional internal teams, and other customer accounts. The Regional Account Manager generates brand recognition, drives customer engagement, facilitates demos during our WFM Promotional weeks, as well as business development of new accounts.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates an environment where our partners are treated fairly in the spirit of Urban Remedy's core values.
  • Manage Whole Foods account within key initiatives & strategies to drive sales, efficiency, and maximize profitability.
  • Establish and build positive relationships with Store Operations and Leadership teams & 3 rd Party Merchandising teams (i.e. Dirty Hands)
  • Works with Direct Report, peers and 3 rd Party Merchandising Teams to develop best practices, process improvement and other additional projects to increase revenue inside the Tier Process
  • Delivers results to meet/exceed sales and profit plan by a high level of operations excellence.
  • Analysis & Solution-based reporting:
    • Provides recurring feedback and sales updates to Store Operations and Leadership teams, 3 rd Party Merchandising teams on overall kiosk performance.
    • Conduct Weekly / Period / Quarter Regional Review
    • Utilize Power BI consistently to assess results and create action plan to continue success and/or improve average daily sales performance-Tier Process | Graduation.
    • Review each Kiosk's daily orders to identify anomalies and other Kiosk performance tools (i.e. GoSpotCheck), working with internal cross functional teams to increase in stock position, reduce purge, and drive sales.
    • East Coast Distribution (currently Baldor): Direct Shelf Engine to adjust P.O.'s, review item shorts to map out action steps to get back on track, manage holiday or schedule delivery changes.
    • Communicates feedback and updates to Quality Assurance Team regarding product quality or concern issues.
    • Continues to educate Store Operations and Leadership teams and 3 rd party Merch teams on UR Brand mission & values, product knowledge, kiosk planograms and seasonal product launches.
    • Executes Field visits:
      • Home Region: 1-2 days per week, minimum 4 kiosk visits (including both merchandising and inventory)
      • Outlier Region: Visit each store in your region 1x per quarter, further outliers 1x per year, minimum 8 kiosk visits (including both merchandising, inventory as well as securing with a meeting with Store Team Leadership(STL) & Prepared Foods Team Leadership(PPFD))
      • Add Secondary Merchandising when possible. (WFM HQ will dictate acceptable options/locations for secondary display)
      • Ensures execution of kiosk merchandising, cleanliness company issued planogram.
      • Manage Kiosk Maintenance Process (cleaning, repairs, expansion).
        • WFM Store colleague/3 rd Party Merchandisers, submit issue. Market Manager to process a formal requisition on Worksmith and other service platforms, and follow through (including internal escalation as required to prioritize customer needs).
        • Demos: Min 4 per month, as well as manage external demo team, or perform demos when required for 14-day Promos (trade shows, etc.)
        • Achieves demo sales target of 100% average daily sales lift per demo.
        • Demonstrates top tier selling behaviors.
          • Understand both organizational and individual KPIs as well as those required for any direct reports. (internal/external)
          • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
          • As a member of various food safety teams, will execute duties as required.
          • Other Non-WFM Sales Opportunities:
            • May be responsible to support non-WFM accounts as part of future responsibilities, which may include reporting, managing relationships, supporting with communication of programs, innovation, promo, etc.






Position-Specific Skills

  • 1- 2 years of retail or merchandising and sales experience.
  • Strong communication skills; proficient in English in both spoken and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Platforms: Teams, Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Must have a Smartphone to utilize app-based technology.
  • Truly believes Food is Healing and has a genuine passion towards the natural/organic food movement.

Education/Training

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Food handling and safety certification.
  • Experience with organic food/natural products preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • This position is field based.
  • Expected to wear clothing appropriate for the nature of the Company's business and the type of work performed.
  • Position requires long periods of standing and driving.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., 10-12 times per shift.
  • This position requires a flexible work schedule including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays.
